We have an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team based at our Head Office in Leicester. You will join us on a full-time contract (37.5 hours), permanent basis, and in return, will receive a salary of up to £24,000 per annum.
About You
We are looking for an individual to join our digital marketing team, who is highly organised, efficient, a great communicator, and keen to progress their career in marketing. Ideally, with experience in a similar role or a marketing degree, you should have a flair for email marketing, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve and assist others.
The Job
As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and building broadcast and automated email campaigns to help drive traffic to shoezone.com. You will analyze email reports and Google Analytics to inform email marketing decisions based on customer behaviour.
You will report to the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator and work alongside the wider team in your daily tasks. In addition to specific responsibilities, you may be asked to undertake other tasks that help us deliver a high-standard digital experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and build broadcast and automated trigger email campaigns following the outlined plan.
- Brief the in-house design team on graphics required for campaigns.
- Test campaigns to ensure proper rendering across different devices and email clients.
- Monitor and report weekly/monthly on campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tools.
- Liaise with the ESP (email service provider) Account Manager/Support Team to resolve issues and conduct monthly review meetings to ensure campaign performance meets targets/KPIs.
- Monitor competitors to ensure our activity remains competitive and adopt new strategies as appropriate.
- Stay updated with email marketing best practices and ensure our activities align with them.
- Ensure email campaigns are integrated with our digital marketing efforts to engage audiences, drive traffic, and showcase products and promotions.
- Understand our brand and customer base to craft engaging, informative copy, and improve it based on analytics.
- Perform general digital marketing administrative tasks.
