shoezone has an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team based in Lancaster. You will join us on a Part Time, Permanent basis and receive a competitive salary dependent on age. This position requires working 12 hours a week which will typically include Monday, Wednesday and Friday; flexibility for the rest of the week is also required and the core rota is subject to change based on the needs of the business. Please note this position will require working afternoons.
In return you will receive a competitive salary, pro-rated between £6,270.00 to £7,655.67 per annum depending on your age. You will also receive career development opportunities and great benefits.
We are a town centre, retail park and digital footwear retailer, offering low price and high-quality footwear for the whole family, with free next day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. We operate from 270 stores and have approximately 2,100 employees across the UK. Our store portfolio consists of 61 town centre stores, which stock the core shoezone product range and 162 hybrid town centre stores and 45 larger retail park stores which also stock additional brands such as Skechers, Hush Puppies and Kickers. shoezone.com, which stocks online exclusive footwear, combined with our store network and marketplaces, ensures a full multi-channel offering for great customer service. During an average year we sell 14.5 million pairs of shoes per annum at an average retail price of £13.
The Sales Assistant Role Naturally, we don’t expect you to know shoezone inside and out, which is why we train and develop all of our Sales Assistants to give the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be the best they can. However, you will need a genuine enthusiasm and passion for helping people, along with a motivation to learn and develop.
