Sales Assistant – Kings Lynn
Shoezone has an opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team based in Kings Lynn. You will join us on a part time (10.5 hours), temporary (maternity leave cover) basis.
We do not expect you to know shoezone inside and out – we train and develop all of our Sales Assistant’s to give the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to be the best they can. However you will need a genuine enthusiasm and passion for helping people, along with a motivation to learn and develop, and hands‑on with the ability to hit the ground running.

This position requires you to work Sunday and Monday, and flexibility for the rest of the week is also required; the core rota is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
In return you will receive a competitive salary, pro‑rated between £5,486.25 to £6,698.71 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £19,593.75 to £23,923.96) depending on your age. After being with the company for 3 years you will be on the national minimum wage for 21+ year olds regardless of your age. You will also receive career development opportunities and great benefits.

Your store will be one of 72 town centre stores, 155 hybrid town centre stores and 45 larger retail park stores which also stock additional brands such as Skechers, Hush Puppies and Kickers.

During an average year we sell 14.5 million pairs of shoes per annum at an average retail price of £13.
Holiday entitlement starts at 28 days and increases to 33 days after 5 years service.
