We're seeking a talented and passionate Finance Manager to join our team and help us develop and implement robust financial strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability.\\n\\nAs our Finance Manager, you'll be the steward of our financial health, ensuring sound financial decision-making across all areas of the business.
You'll play a crucial role in managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial performance, identify and mitigate risks, and maximise value.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nManage all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.\\nPrepare and analyse monthly, interim and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.\\nDevelop and implement robust financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.\\nManage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.\\nEnsure compliance with all relevant UK tax legislation, including VAT, PAYE, and corporation tax.\\nOversee the preparation and submission of all tax returns.\\nManage and mentor a small finance team, providing guidance and support.\\nLiaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.\\nIdentify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations.\\nStay up to date on changes in accounting standards and UK tax legislation.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\nQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA ) or equivalent (Essential).\\nProven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of UK accounting practices and tax legislation (Essential).\\nAdvanced proficiency in Sage (ideally Sage Intacct) (Essential). \\nExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.\\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. \\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
