Shoalter Automation (UK) Ltd are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in MediaCityUK. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the development, and implementation of cutting-edge retail automation systems.
As part of the Engineering team you will spearhead the manufacturing of their patented retail automation system ready for installation into their in:Five branded, technology driven, convenience stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Engineering: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the assembly and installation of complex machinery, both in-house and on-site.
- Process Optimisation: Continuously improve manufacturing processes and quality standards through innovative solutions and lean methodologies.
- Technical Expertise: Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and select the most suitable manufacturing tools and equipment to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Problem-Solving Maestro: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in production equipment, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
- Rigorous Testing and Validation: Ensure product excellence by performing comprehensive testing and validation of mechanical systems to meet stringent specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including manufacturing process flows and quality control manuals, to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
