A highly challenging role with a focus on analysing data from a variety of sources, generating insights and communicating them effectively to support the successful delivery of client projects at SHM. It combines planning, data analysis, critical thinking, research, producing content, writing, editing, briefing, coordinating and proofreading.
The successful candidate will work across SHM’s corporate projects to ensure we are engaging with our clients in the right way and making an impact.
Core Responsibilities- Supporting Project Consultants and Senior Project Consultants with their daily tasks.
- Gathering, analysing, interpreting, and communicating qualitative and quantitative data and research.
- Creating presentations, reports, communications and documents that capture insights in a clear and compelling manner.
- Supporting the planning of projects and helping to ensure they are delivered within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- Providing support for client project meetings, events and workshops, including by note-taking and action planning.
- Creating clear and concise internal briefings ensuring information is explained with clarity.
- Presenting written work to internal audiences for review.
- Conducting interviews and other research.

- Positive and flexible: Approach tasks with a highly creative, can-do manner. Be proactive and flexible, willing to work outside of office hours where necessary. Feel comfortable working and developing expertise across many industries and topics, in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player: Have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and with people at different levels in an organisation. Take on ad-hoc tasks as needed and support colleagues with their workloads.
- Proficient in basic tools: Be competent in the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel in particular. Learn how to use Asana to track and manage projects on a daily basis.
- Bachelor’s degree and excellent academic record. We particularly welcome candidates who have studied science-based subjects or degrees that promote strong analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Some recent experience in working directly with clients.
- Experience working in a similar role or field. We are open to meeting with people with varying degrees of experience and seniority.
