SHL People Science is revolutionising workplace intelligence. As an Analytics Engineer you will translate business needs into scalable data solutions, build advanced analytical models and visualisations, and partner with stakeholders across finance, pricing and commercial teams.

What You Will Be Doing

• Take ownership of building, testing and deploying advanced analytical models and visualisations to provide insights while producing scalable data products.
• Work with internal stakeholders to assess, refine and prioritise analytics use cases and translate them into technical model specifications.
• Assess the existing data landscape, develop semantic layers, and evolve reporting in line with our business strategy.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to improve data products and enable faster, more accurate insights.
• Build robust end-to-end data products balancing speed of delivery with scalability and reliability.
• Promote optimum practices in data engineering and support a culture of high-quality, reliable data across the organisation.

Essential Qualifications

• Translate business needs into technical data requirements and explain them to users.
• Proficiency in SQL/Python/R or another pipeline language to produce ETL/ELT flows.
• Root‑cause analysis to test and troubleshoot data solutions using a methodical approach.
• Strong awareness of data management and governance.

Desirable Qualifications

• Machine learning and statistics experience.
• Experience delivering in an agile environment.
