Are you an experienced data engineer or finance data analyst keen to move into an engineering focused role? Do you have sound SQL, data management applications know how, exposure to data visualisation tools and working knowledge of a programming language such as Python or Java? You will also need to have first class problem solving and stakeholder management experience. If this all sounds like you, the role of Data & Analytics Engineering Specialist could be for you. What you will be doing:
- Take ownership for data analytics and automation projects, defining and producing end-to-end high quality and high impact solutions to transform business processes.
- Work with stakeholders to design, develop and iterate transformative solutions.
- Develop high impact analytics outputs, presented through user-centric dashboards & services.
- Build robust data foundations, through effective data engineering and architecture and creation of performant, reliable, and scalable data pipelines and solutions.
The ideal candidate would bring a mix of technical and functional skills to the role.
What we are looking for from you:
Essential:
- BI tools and data architectures, data visualisation tools, data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and SQL.
- Strong numerical abilities.
- Programming experience in any language.
- Problem solving - the aptitude to comprehend complex business processes and challenges, identifying data and technology solutions.
Desirable:
- DevOps.
- Experience of working in agile delivery teams.
- Accountancy systems and processes experience.
- CRM data experience.
