We’re on the lookout for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver & Operations Support Assistant. This is a varied role offering more than just driving—ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of responsibilities and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Driver Duties:
    • Long-distance deliveries
    • Assisting with the delivery of heavy items
    • Potential opportunity to upskill to a 7.5-ton licence for the right person
  • Stores Assistant Support:
    • Picking and preparing orders
    • Delivering parts locally
    • Managing incoming deliveries and placing orders
    • Sending parts to Branch Offices
    • General housekeeping duties in stores
    • Potential opportunity to upskill to forklift operations
  • Fleet Management and Health and Safety Assistance:
    • Taking vehicles for cleaning, servicing, scheduled maintenance and tyre changes
    • Coordinating repairs and damage quotes
    • Performing vehicle and equipment checks
    • Ensuring pool vehicles are cleaned, fuelled, charged, and ready
    • Supervising windscreen repairs
    • Conducting weekly fire alarm tests
    • Cutting oil dip tests

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Physically fit and able to assist with heavy lifting
  • Flexibility to support across departments
  • Forklift licence (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous delivery or logistics experience a plus
