As a Junior Agile Delivery Manager at Shivom, you will support the delivery of high-quality digital products and services through a blend of agile methodologies. This role is designed for individuals looking to grow into delivery leadership roles by learning on the job in a dynamic consultancy environment. You will work closely with senior delivery managers, product managers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project governance, team coordination, stakeholder engagement, and agile ceremonies. Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior leadership in managing hybrid delivery environments that span both agile and traditional waterfall methods.
- Assist in applying governance frameworks by contributing to reporting on risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and progress.
- Learn and apply agile project management principles to real-world projects.
- Work with Product Managers to break down roadmaps into user stories and manageable tasks.
- Take part in sprint planning and prioritisation based on team capacity and business value.
- Begin to matrix‑manage and coordinate activities across cross‑functional teams.
- Support the delivery of outcomes through discovery, alpha, beta, and live phases.
- Assist in organising and facilitating agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, retrospectives, showcases, and sprint planning sessions.
- Identify problems early and work proactively to support their resolution.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including civil servants and contractors.
- Learn to use agile project tooling effectively, especially JIRA and Confluence.
- Understanding of hybrid agile/waterfall delivery environments.
- Awareness of project governance including escalation routes, risk logs, and reporting cycles.
- Willingness to learn and apply agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Managers and delivery teams.
