Shivam Cement Limited, established in 2003, is Nepal's largest cement manufacturing greenfield project, operational since 2011. The company operates with a capacity of 3000 TPD cement and 1900 TPD clinker, supported by self-owned limestone quarries. With advanced European and Danish technology, Shivam Cement is a market leader known for high-quality products including OPC 43 and OPC 53 Grade Cement. Located in the industrial hub of Hetauda, the company plays a key role in reducing cement imports and supporting Nepal's infrastructure growth, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role for a Plant Head at Shivam Cement's integrated cement plant in Hetauda. The Plant Head will be responsible for overall plant operations, with clear ownership of performance, discipline, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong on-ground leadership and the ability to convert plans, reviews, and shutdowns into measurable and sustained results.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance coordination, and quality control
- Ensure stable and consistent plant output with ownership of key operational KPIs
- Lead production planning and optimize operational efficiency
- Manage budgets and operational costs effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and regulatory standards
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable cross-functional teams across Production, Maintenance, Quality, and E&I
- Address operational challenges proactively and implement strategies to improve productivity and sustainability
- Strong experience in plant operations and production management
- Hands-on exposure to kiln and grinding operations
- Experience with production planning and quality control systems
- Proven capability in budgeting and cost management
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- High commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (Advanced qualifications or certifications are an advantage)
- Prior experience in cement manufacturing or heavy process industry is highly desirable
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-accountability industrial environment
