Retail OmniChannel Activation Manager

Mission:
The Retail OmniChannel Activation Manager will be responsible for owning and driving the omnichannel retail strategy for key strategic retailers. This role involves making strategic decisions on media inventory placements across channels and measuring ROI and sales uplift. The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, omnichannel execution, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful retail media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement omnichannel retail strategies aligned with business objectives and retailer partnerships. Collaborate with brands to understand retailer and market needs, and project manage the delivery of tailored strategies, assets, target demographics, vehicle mechanics, and KCP strategies.
- Media Inventory Management: Make strategic decisions on media placements across in-store, online, and third-party channels, aligning with retailer capabilities and digital trends to meet partnership goals.
- Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and optimize retail campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales, ensuring alignment with both digital and in-store strategies for a seamless customer experience. This includes briefing assets for retail media campaigns.
- Performance Measurement: Analyze campaign performance monthly, focusing on ROI and sales uplift. Use data insights to refine strategies and ensure continuous improvement to meet quarterly targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, digital, and communications teams to ensure cohesive omnichannel strategies.
- Retailer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, especially digital contacts, to maximize media opportunities and collaborative initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage retail trade budgets in collaboration with the NAC, ensuring resource efficiency and maximizing ROI.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on campaign performance and business impact to inform future investments.
Experience Required:
- Experience in national account management, retail media, omnichannel marketing, or related roles within the beauty or FMCG sectors.
- Experience managing digital/E-retail relationships, especially with e-retailers or digitally focused markets, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for managing multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and analytical mindset.
- Positive, collaborative attitude; able to work independently.
- Experience in digital upskilling and training is desirable.
- Knowledge of digital and e-retail trends, with retail media experience being advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in interpreting data for strategic decisions.
