Your Next Role: As a Resident Senior Artist you will be bringing this vision to our customers on counter. Your passion for artistry and service, along with personality, is key – we are looking for someone who is creative and able to ensure that each customer has an engaging and individual experience.

Responsibilities
  • Through one‑to‑one sessions and events, you will use your artistry skills and product expertise to ensure that each customer goes away not only with a bag full of luxurious makeup but also the confidence to use NARS techniques to express their own personal vision of beauty.
  • Execute event calendar in collaboration with Lead Artist and Events Manager.
  • Manage Pro Program events (Boutiques only).
  • Lead on/off‑counter events to drive customer acquisition and sales.
  • Identify external partnerships to expand customer reach.
  • Develop event strategies and plans with Business Manager.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
  • Represent NARS as a brand ambassador.
  • Achieve your personal sales targets and brand KPI expectations.
  • Manage virtual tools: online consultations, masterclasses, social media.
  • Report event results and recommend engagement programs.
  • Coach artists on customer trends and best practices.
  • Maintain active presence on NARS digital platforms.
  • Lead team meetings and workshops based on store needs.
  • Coach artists on product knowledge, application, and service skills.
  • Support management in identifying development opportunities.
  • Attend advanced artistry training and brand‑building projects.
  • Conduct trade tests for new hires or promotions.

As a Resident Senior NARS Artist, you have the power to change the way a client feels about themselves through your actions, communication and the connections that you make. This will be your daily commitment to your clients and yourself.

Background/Suitability
  • Previous experience of working within the retail and beauty industry in high profile locations.
  • Proven high level of artistry experience through portfolio (on or off line).
  • Professional appearance & grooming standards represent NARS style grooming guidelines.
  • Goal oriented with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of coaching and people development.
  • Flexible working days including weekend and evenings.
  • On counter leading from the front in excellence in performance to target and an elevated level of artistry and service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Has management experience and has excellent leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated growth of appointment business in store.
  • Experience of leading an event / outreach strategy with proven results.
