MISSION
Lead and advance the UK&I Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté brands training team in strategic program delivery and exceptional consultant performance – including product skills and selling/service techniques to drive the business and meet productivity and service goals.
ORGANISATION
Contract type: Interim 12 Month FTC
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- TRAINING STRATEGY
- Lead the creation of UK Brand training strategies, working with key stakeholders including Head of Education and Events.
- Design, develop, oversee and conduct brand Training Programs for both Brand employed and retailer consultant teams.
- Train all Beauty Consultants with product knowledge and selling behaviours to enable them to consistently achieve and exceed sales and service goals in line with published brand expectations, in the classroom and virtually.
- Regularly review training effectiveness and implement findings into the national strategy.
- Ensure all newly hired Consultants receive quality training within first 30 days of hire.
- Work closely with Regional Sales & Education Managers to enhance own understanding of performance and needs in the field through 1-2-1 coaching on counter, developing existing and new initiatives in response.
- MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS
- Build strong and meaningful relationships with key personnel at retailers.
- Establish the right events for us to participate in, based on collaboration with the NAM team & awareness of potential for return (financial and retailer relationship).
- Dynamic presentations at retailer events.
- Ensure retailer consultants training needs are met to maximise sales.
- TRAINING TOOLS
- Adapt, manage and maintain all training assets from Regional Head Office to ensure best fit for UK needs.
- Oversight of the app and internal BC social groups. Monitor engagement levels, and ensure the programme of content is clear, aligned to the brands, and engaging.
- PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
- Management responsibility for Field Trainer & Events Manager and SNMUA.
- Ensure training team deliver effective trainings and maximise their positive impact on the business.
- Responsible for the talent development of the team.
- Develop Beauty Consultants and increase certification levels.
- ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight and responsibility for Training Budget management.
- Submit monthly accurate travel and expense reports with receipts.
- Support Area Sales & Education Managers with recruitment of Beauty Consultants.
- Act as a role model and senior brand ambassador with regards product knowledge, brand standards, personal grooming and sales expertise.
- Support events as required.
- Complete & submit Training plans and recaps on time and within corporate guidelines and budgets.
- Participate in regional relevant Training Conferences and Seminars.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience as a National Education Manager.
- Knowledge of the beauty industry.
- Highly developed presentation skills across a range of training mediums and group sizes; including internal and external participants.
- Able to facilitate training seminars, ensuring maximised participant learning and understanding of content.
- Experience of creating and adapting National Training Programmes for local market.
- Demonstrable coaching, leadership and communication skills.
- Strong leader with flexibility, excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
- Experience of working in a multi-national, matrixed organisation.
- Experience of researching, implementing and managing digital solutions for learning.
