An excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a major civil engineering principal contractor to work across multiple projects around the outskirts of London and the Home Counties
The role will provide Health & Safety leadership across operational and project teams, supporting the delivery of high standards across civil engineering, construction, maintenance and infrastructure activities.
THE ROLE
- Lead, support and mentor a team of Health & Safety Advisors
- Drive a positive safety and wellbeing culture
- Conduct site inspections and supply chain audits
- Lead and support incident investigations
- Monitor Health & Safety performance and improvement actions
- Engage with operational teams and senior stakeholders
- Support Health & Safety training and communications
WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 years' experience working in Health & Safety
- Previous experience working in civil engineering, construction or maintenance
- Strong site-based construction background
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- IOSH membership
- Experience managing or mentoring Health & Safety Advisors
- Full UK driving licence
