We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take a lead role within our Design Team, delivering mechanical solutions across water and wastewater treatment projects that make a real impact.
In this role, you’ll own the full mechanical design lifecycle — from concept through to commissioning — working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and help shape technical best practice across the business.
This position requires attendance in the Glasgow office or on site at least 3 days per week.
- Leading mechanical design packages end‑to‑end
- Supporting procurement, installation, commissioning, and optimisation
- Carrying out technical reviews and risk assessments
7–10 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering (water/wastewater ideal)
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
You’ll be part of a business delivering essential, sustainable infrastructure, with the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor others, and work on projects that positively impact communities and the environment.
