This is a hands-on role for a well-rounded safety professional who thrives on variety, delivering audits, training, systems development, and client advisory. If you’re adaptable, collaborative, and ready to hit the ground running, this opportunity offers progression toward Principal Consultant level and exposure across a wider group of businesses.
The Senior Health & Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- Delivering audits, inspections, and management system reviews with clear, actionable reporting.
- Advising clients on health and safety compliance and best practice across diverse leisure environments.
- Developing and implementing systems and procedures tailored to client operations.
- Delivering accredited and bespoke training (IOSH, NEBOSH, CIMSPA-endorsed).
- Supporting incident investigations and liaising with enforcement bodies when required.
The Senior Health & Safety Consultant will have:
- Level 6 qualification (Diploma, Degree, or equivalent) and CertIOSH or progressing toward CMIOSH.
- Strong background in leisure, sport, culture, or holiday park environments.
- Proven consultancy experience including audits, training delivery, and client advisory.
- Flexibility for UK-wide travel with frequent overnight stays (approx. 50%).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to integrate into a small team within a larger group.
