Senior HSE Business Partner

We are working with a globally renowned manufacturing organization to recruit a Senior HSE Business Partner. This key role will involve driving strategy and overseeing HSE initiatives across the division. Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Director, the Senior HSE Business Partner will be responsible for shaping and implementing comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental strategies while leading continuous improvement efforts.
The Senior HSE Business Partner will support and mentor divisional operational teams across a diverse portfolio of sites all over the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global business that has shown continued growth and has a strong reputation for safety and innovation, who are now looking to appoint an engaging and proactive individual to take HSE to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain HSE policies, ensuring alignment with global group standards
- Be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
- Drive cultural change, continuing to bring HSE and compliance to the forefront
- Lead initiatives around traffic management and vehicle movement safety
- Coach, manage, and develop operational stakeholders
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and drive preventative measures
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Experience working within a manufacturing/engineering/supply chain environment
- Act as a catalyst for change, showcasing proven experience in successfully implementing and advancing HSE initiatives
- Experience managing and developing cultural change
- Experience maintaining management systems such as ISO14001, ISO 45001
- Proven leadership skills; the ability to engage at all levels is vital
- Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
