With a healthy pipeline of work and a genuine commitment to sustainability, they're looking for a passionate Environmental Advisor/Senior Environmental Advisor to help drive environmental excellence across major projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence environmental performance from planning through to project completion, working alongside experienced teams to deliver sustainable infrastructure that makes a real difference.
- Drive Environmental Excellence β Champion environmental best practice across multiple projects, supporting the delivery of sustainability objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide Expert Guidance β Work closely with operational and site teams, offering practical environmental advice to ensure compliance with legislation, client requirements and company standards.
- Lead Audits & Site Reviews β Carry out environmental inspections, audits and performance reviews, identifying risks, sharing best practice and helping drive positive change.
- Build Key Relationships β Collaborate with clients, regulators and supply chain partners, promoting a positive environmental culture and influencing key project decisions.
- Monitor, Improve & Influence β Investigate environmental incidents, analyse performance data and recommend improvements that enhance environmental outcomes across the framework.
- Experienced Environmental Professional β You'll have environmental or HS&E experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities or another fast-paced project environment.
- Technically Knowledgeable β A well-developed understanding of environmental legislation, management systems and risk management, with the confidence to provide practical advice.
- Excellent Communicator β Comfortable building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to clients and regulatory bodies.
- Proactive Problem Solver β Someone who enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement, managing environmental risks and driving high standards across projects.
- Passionate About Your Career β NEBOSH qualified (or working towards), with a full UK driving licence. IEMA membership and experience within the water or regulated infrastructure sectors would be an advantage.
