Shirley Parsons is delighted to be working with a leading Structural Steel contractor who are looking to appoint a QA/QC Welding Inspector to join their Nuclear & Infrastructure division, to work on the Hinkley Point C project.

QA/QC Welding Inspector Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate welded and fabricated components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
  • Monitor production processes to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
  • Maintaining the Quality Assurance systems
  • Maintaining external qualifications
  • Be a key point of contact for external stakeholders, and training of colleagues on Quality requirements

QA/QC Inspector Key Skills & experience:

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of welding processes and fabrication techniques
  • Certification in welding inspection CSWIP 3.1
  • Familiarity with industry standards and specifications for welding and fabrication
