Shirley Parsons is delighted to be working with a leading Structural Steel contractor who are looking to appoint a QA/QC Welding Inspector to join their Nuclear & Infrastructure division, to work on the Hinkley Point C project.
QA/QC Welding Inspector Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate welded and fabricated components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Monitor production processes to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
- Maintaining the Quality Assurance systems
- Maintaining external qualifications
- Be a key point of contact for external stakeholders, and training of colleagues on Quality requirements
QA/QC Inspector Key Skills & experience:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of welding processes and fabrication techniques
- Certification in welding inspection CSWIP 3.1
