We’re excited to continue our partnership with a leading utilities and civil engineering contractor specialising in water and infrastructure projects across the UK. They’re looking for an Environment & Sustainability Advisor to support projects across London and Oxfordshire. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with site and operational teams to make sure environmental and sustainability standards are not just met, but genuinely embedded into day-to-day delivery.

You’ll be out on site as well as working with wider teams, helping to manage environmental risks, improve performance, and support initiatives that reduce impact across a range of live infrastructure projects.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working Side-by-Side with Teams – Building strong relationships on site and becoming the go-to person for environmental advice
  • Tackling Real-World Challenges – Helping teams navigate environmental risks like waste, water, and ecology in a practical way
  • Getting Out on Site – Regularly visiting projects across London and Oxfordshire to see things first-hand and keep standards high
  • Making Improvements That Matter – Playing a key role in initiatives that genuinely reduce environmental impact
  • Bringing People On the Journey – Delivering clear, engaging briefings that get teams thinking and acting differently

Who they’re looking for:

  • Someone Who Cares About the Detail – You take pride in doing things properly and understanding the “why” behind it
  • Hands-On Experience – You’ve worked in environmental or sustainability roles, ideally in construction or infrastructure
  • Easy to Talk To – You can build trust quickly and communicate clearly with a wide range of people
  • Comfortable with Data – You’re confident pulling together information and using it to tell a clear story
  • Proactive by Nature – You don’t wait to be asked, you spot issues early and get stuck in
