We\'re partnered with a UK-based construction and civil engineering company who are looking for a Waste Manager who will lead waste management excellence across the construction and utilities sector. You’ll be at the heart of shaping greener practices, influencing change, and helping to build a more sustainable future.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Championing Change – Lead the development of waste management standards that go beyond compliance and drive innovation.
- Collaborating Widely – Work closely with site teams, internal teams, project managers, and external partners to promote recycling and waste minimisation.
- Advising with Purpose – Provide expert guidance on environmental legislation and future-proof strategies.
- Driving Data-Driven Decisions – Monitor and report environmental performance to help the business and clients make informed choices.
- Inspiring Culture – Deliver engaging environmental awareness initiatives that empower teams to make a difference.
Who They\'re Looking For:
- Environmentally Minded – You bring a degree (or equivalent experience) in an environmental field and a passion for sustainability.
- Experienced & Curious – With at least 5 years in waste management, you’re confident navigating legislation and environmental systems.
- A Natural Collaborator – You enjoy building relationships across teams and with external stakeholders to create shared success.
- Detail-Oriented & Analytical – You’re comfortable interpreting data and writing clear, actionable plans and reports.
- Flexible & Mobile – You’re happy to travel across the UK to support teams and projects wherever needed.
