- Driving legal compliance, risk management and EHS performance across the Northampton production site, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and statutory requirements.
- Influencing, coaching and supporting managers, supervisors and frontline teams to embed a proactive and positive safety culture.
- Leading EHS programmes including contractor management, machinery safety, behavioural safety, incident investigation, audits, inspections and reporting processes.
- Supporting capital investment projects and continuous improvement initiatives, whilst acting as the site's primary point of contact for EHS matters.
The EHS Manager will have:
- Health & Safety experience gained within a manufacturing, food & beverage, FMCG or similarly regulated industrial environment.
- A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively from shop-floor to senior leadership level.
- A proactive and resilient approach, with the confidence to challenge where required and the ability to operate independently whilst driving positive change.
