I am searching for a Health & Safety Manager to work for a specialist renewables/energy business, The position will be accountable for leading processes, policies, and procedures, conducting RAMS and site audits. The position will require being in the Barnsley region with travel once or twice a month to sites. The ideal candidate will know about CDM, working at height, and be able to work as part of a leadership team
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading health & safety across the business, the go-to for all health & safety
- Conducting RAMS, site audits, and inspections
- Creation and implementation of health & safety strategy
- Continuously updating policies, processes, and procedures
- Leading on accident or incident investigations, conducting root cause analysis
- Able to work autonomously and manage their diary and workload.
- Support the team to create a positive health & safety culture
- Conducting toolbox talks to site teams.
The Health & Safety Manager will have:
- 5 years of experience working in health & safety
- Previous experience working in a construction/civil engineering/working at height
- Hold a NEBOSH certificate minimum, ideally a construction certificate
- Driving license
- Proactive and engaging professional who is people-focused and wants to build strong relationships across multiple divisions
