Health and Safety Advisor

Shirley Parsons is partnered with a leading specialist construction company, seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for their project spanning across Home Counties to Cambridge. This division focuses around large frameworks, predominantly within the retail sector. Our client is looking for candidates with CDM knowledge and understanding, along with temporary works and contractor engagement.
The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
β Ensuring the responsibility of safety for all contractors, operators and members of the public on and around the construction sites
β Monitor the performance of your sites in order to identify where additional support / actions are required. Escalate any concerns to the Health and Safety Manager
β Support the Safety Team with communication on good practice and lessons learnt such as developing safety alerts and various safety communications such as monthly focus areas, safety updates etc.
β Assist with CDM regulations and advice
The Health and Safety Advisor will have:
β NEBOSH General Certificate at minimum
β CDM knowledge and practical experience
β Temporary Works experience
β Full UK Working rights
