Food Safety Manager Remote with UK Wide travel £65,000 + Car and Benefits We are partnering with a leading Facilities Management organisation to recruit a Food Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership to a team of Food Safety Consultants while serving as the deputy to the Head of Food Safety. Key Responsibilities: Support, coach and mentor the Operating Unit SLT(s) and provide competent Food Safety advice. Analyse and collate audit outcomes, identifying areas for improvement. Lead particularly complex incident investigations on direction from the Head of Food Safety. Line Manage the performance and development of the Food Safety Consultants and Technical Food Safety Consultant. Work closely and flexibly with the Head of Food Safety, Food Safety Consultants and HSE Managers to facilitate success. About You: Leading food safety improvements in a matrix organisation. Food Safety Management experience at a Senior level. Experienced leader with demonstrable experience of leading a team through a period of change. Degree in Environmental Health, degree in food science/food technology, Level 4 Food Safety. Experience of auditing food businesses from low- risk to high- risk food manufacturers.
