Home based with travel across NW, Midlands, areas of SE & SW. 12-month FTC initially with high likelihood of going permanent. £55,000 - £65,000 plus package.

I am working with a specialist EV Charging company who are searching for a health, safety, environmental & quality specialist to join the team and support them across their network of sites. The position will be based from home but will be a 50/50 split between home and travel to sites across the country, traditionally based across the central region of the country and M1 corridor but also down towards the Southwest.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a highly regulated industry including oil & gas, manufacturing, LV/HV or renewables industries.

The HSEQ Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team in managing and leading HSEQ across the business.
  • Deputising for the Head of HSEQ when required.
  • Supporting the business in the implementation and management of ISO Management Systems.
  • Travelling to sites to support the growth of a positive and proactive H&S culture.
  • Conducting audits and RAMS on sites across the UK.
  • Supporting/leading on accident or incident investigations when required.

The HSEQ Specialist will have:

  • 3 years+ of experience working in health & safety.
  • Previous experience working in highly regulated industries.
  • Working knowledge of ISO Management Systems including the implementation and management of these systems.
  • NEBOSH certificate minimum, ideally working towards Diploma level.
  • Driving license is a must due to travel requirements.
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
