We’re working with a leading organisation in the energy-from-waste sector that’s looking for an Environmental Manager on a 6-month contract to ensure compliance, maintain permits, and strengthen environmental performance across their site.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead environmental compliance by ensuring all permits, licences, and obligations are fully met while improving site-wide standards.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring and proactively identify risks, implementing solutions to protect site performance and reputation.
  • Act as the main point of contact with regulators, including the Environment Agency, ensuring effective communication and strong relationships.
  • Advise leadership on environmental performance and provide strategic input to enhance operational sustainability.
