What You'll Do:
- Innovate and Integrate: Drive sustainability by incorporating cutting-edge environmental mitigation and sustainability innovations into projects, ensuring compliance and excellence from the get-go.
- Inspect, Audit, and Improve: Conduct thorough environmental inspections and audits using the Novade platform, review incidents, and develop actionable learning outcomes to continuously enhance our practices.
- Report and Communicate: Collate and prepare comprehensive sustainability reports, ensuring data accuracy in our RIO system, and effectively communicate progress against objectives and targets.
- Share and Drive Best Practices: Lead the charge in sharing case studies and best practices with the wider team, chairing meetings to champion our Building for a Sustainable World Sustainability Strategy.
Who We're Looking For:
- Sustainability Enthusiast: Passionate about reducing carbon emissions and improving resource efficiency, with a solid educational background in environmental or scientific disciplines.
- Experienced and Knowledgeable: Proven experience in environmental roles, familiar with sustainability schemes like BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and adept at setting and monitoring environmental KPIs.
- ISO Savvy and Conceptually Strong: Expertise in ISO 14001, including document development and internal auditing, with a thorough understanding of environmental concepts and management systems.
- Ready to Travel: Equipped with a UK driving licence, security clearance (or the ability to obtain it), and willing to travel to various sites regularly.
