The Opportunity
A global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced SHE professional to lead performance across its European operations.
This is a newly created leadership position reporting directly to the Global SHE Director, established to bridge the gap between global strategy and regional execution.
The successful individual will play a key role in driving consistency, sharing best practice, strengthening collaboration between sites, and raising SHE standards across multiple manufacturing facilities and remote teams.
This is a highly visible leadership role with significant influence across operational sites, regional leadership teams and the wider global SHE function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SHE agenda across manufacturing operations and remote employee populations throughout Europe.
- Drive consistent implementation of SHE standards, systems and governance across multiple locations.
- Partner with Site Directors and operational leaders to improve performance and embed a strong safety culture.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on Occupational Health, Process Safety and Behavioural Safety.
- Drive incident learning, risk management, auditing and compliance activities.
- Promote greater collaboration and knowledge sharing between sites.
- Support the implementation of group SHE programmes and strategic initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop a regional team of SHE professionals.

About You

Requirements
- SHE leadership experience within a high-hazard environment.
- Proven experience leading programmes across multiple countries and cultures.
- Understanding of process safety and major hazard risk management.
- Experience operating within COMAH, Seveso or equivalent regulatory environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and leadership skills.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Chartered IOSH or equivalent advantageous.
