Join a growing UK logistics organisation with a large and dynamic HSE team. In this role, you will be ensuring compliance, driving best practices, managing risk, and promoting sustainability across all company operations.

We are looking for a proactive communicator with strong organisational skills, a NEBOSH General Certificate and ideally some HSE experience in a warehousing/logistics environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring adherence to EHS regulations and standards, assisting with regulatory reporting, maintaining accurate records, and supporting audits.
  • Creating and updating policies, procedures, and best practices; coordinating training sessions; and promoting EHS awareness across the organisation.
  • Conducting risk assessments and audits, investigating incidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions, and coordinating emergency response plans and drills.
  • Supporting environmental initiatives (waste reduction, energy efficiency), engaging employees in sustainability programs, and working closely with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Excellent communication and people skills, a proactive 'can-do' attitude, and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-moving operational environment.
  • Experience with ISO management systems; ideally exposure to logistics operations and/or an engineering environment.
  • Flexibility to travel when required.
