Health & Safety Advisor / Manager Teesside (Initial 6-Month Project) | Permanent Midlands-Based Opportunity Thereafter Up to Β£55,000 + Accommodation Provided + Benefits Our client is a highly respected specialist demolition contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the UK. Due to an urgent project, they are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor/Manager in Teesside. The successful candidate will initially be based on-site in Teesside for approximately 6 months, with accommodation provided throughout the project. Upon completion, the role will transition into a permanent position supporting projects across the Midlands region, providing long-term career stability and progression. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated health and safety professional looking to join a forward-thinking contractor operating within a high-hazard environment. Conducting site inspections, audits and compliance reviews. Supporting project teams with risk assessments and safe systems of work. Delivering toolbox talks and health & safety briefings. Monitoring compliance with legislative and company requirements. Developing strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and operational teams. Promoting continuous improvement across health and safety performance. Experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor, HSE Advisor, SHEQ Advisor, HSQE Advisor or Health & Safety Manager. Candidates with experience working on complex construction, infrastructure, industrial, civils or major project environments are encouraged to apply. Experience working closely with project delivery teams in a site-based role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A pragmatic approach to health and safety management. NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum). Full UK Driving Licence. Salary of up to Β£55,000, depending on experience. Accommodation provided during the initial Teesside project. Excellent opportunity to move into a permanent Midlands-based role following project completion. Exposure to a diverse portfolio of complex projects.
