Senior Health And Safety Manager - Building Safety & Fire

We're looking for an experienced Senior Building Safety & Fire Manager to lead building safety and fire compliance across a complex portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead building safety and fire compliance activities across the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Order and related legislation.
  • Manage fire risk assessments and oversee completion of remedial actions.
  • Support Safety Case Reports and maintenance of Golden Thread information.
  • Liaise with regulators, Fire & Rescue Services and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on building safety, fire safety and emerging legislation.
  • Produce compliance reports and support a strong organisational safety culture.

About You

  • Proven experience in building safety, fire safety or compliance management.
  • Strong knowledge of current building safety and fire safety legislation.
  • Experience working within complex, occupied buildings, ideally high-rise or mixed-use developments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualification in Fire Safety, Building Surveying, Engineering, Construction, Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Professional membership (IFE, IFSM, IOSH, RICS, CIOB or equivalent) desirable.
