Sevenoaks School is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a comprehensive fire safety management system across its school sites, properties and activities. Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager and departments across the school, you will help ensure compliance with fire safety legislation, industry standards and best practice while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation The Fire Safety Advisor will be responsible for: Lead the review and development of fire safety policies and procedures. Coordinate Fire Risk Assessments, audits and inspections. Oversee fire alarm, detection and emergency systems. Develop and review evacuation plans and fire drills. Deliver and coordinate fire safety training. Investigate fire-related incidents and provide recommendations. Liaise with contractors, emergency services and regulatory bodies. Provide expert fire safety advice across school activities and events. The Fire Safety Advisor will have: Experience managing fire safety in a complex environment. Excellent knowledge of current fire safety legislation and best practice. Proven ability to provide practical fire safety solutions. Relevant fire safety qualifications and memberships (e.g. Institute of Fire Engineers).
