Senior Health & Safety Manager Somerset Permanent £70,000 We have partnered with a global leading specialist manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety Manager at their large site in Somerset. You will be responsible for continuing to drive health, safety and environmental standards forward across the site. The client is seeking an engaging and proactive professional who can elevate HSE standards and play a pivotal role in driving the company's HSE culture to the next level. The Senior Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for: Develop and implement the HSE strategy. You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be. You will drive cultural change, bringing HSE to the forefront. Coaching, managing and developing various senior stakeholders will be essential. Manage a team of direct reports. Management of ISO standards The Senior Health & Safety Manager will have: Experience within a complex manufacturing and logistics environment. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent essential. Must have previous knowledge of management systems of ISO 14001, 45001. Personality, influencing skills and engagement are crucial. Experience/knowledge of PUWER, LOLER and a highly regulated environment.
