We are working with a leading engineering consultancy delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead multi-disciplinary design teams on complex, high-value schemes.

The Role

As Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of design outputs across a portfolio of water sector projects. You will act as the technical focal point, ensuring designs are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and budget requirements. This role involves leading and managing multi-disciplinary design teams, coordinating technical design across water and wastewater projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements. You will manage design risk, quality assurance, and change control, support project planning, resourcing, and programme delivery, and act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners.
