Join a growing UK logistics organisation with a large and dynamic HSE team. In this role, you will be ensuring compliance, driving best practices, managing risk, and promoting sustainability across all company operations. We are looking for a proactive communicator with strong organisational skills, a NEBOSH General Certificate and ideally some HSE experience in a warehousing/logistics environment.
The Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Monitoring adherence to EHS regulations and standards, assisting with regulatory reporting, maintaining accurate records, and supporting audits.
- Creating and updating policies, procedures, and best practices; coordinating training sessions; and promoting EHS awareness across the organisation.
- Conducting risk assessments and audits, investigating incidents and near misses, recommending corrective actions, and coordinating emergency response plans and drills.
- Supporting environmental initiatives (waste reduction, energy efficiency), engaging employees in sustainability programs, and working closely with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
The Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Excellent communication and people skills, a proactive 'can-do' attitude, and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-moving operational environment.
- Experience with ISO management systems; ideally exposure to logistics operations and/or an engineering environment.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
