We are working with a global leader in sustainable facilities management and technical services, who are looking for an experienced Industrial Safety Manager to lead and embed our safety, environmental, and quality strategy at a Nuclear site. You will be a key member of the Station Leadership Team and play a central role in shaping a world-class SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement the UKBU Safety Strategy at station level in collaboration with the Industrial Safety Director.
  • Lead development and delivery of long-term SHEQ roadmaps, initiatives, and site-wide safety campaigns.
  • Champion safety culture through visibility, leadership, coaching, and influence across operational and client teams.
  • Drive ISO standard compliance (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001) through audits, inspections, and internal engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with a development plan to achieve Diploma level.
  • ISO9001 & ISO14001 Internal Auditor Training.
  • Working knowledge of UK/EU safety and environmental legislation.
  • Proven experience in applying H&S principles in high-risk sectors (e.g., engineering, construction, industrial, waste, logistics).
