We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Health & Safety professional to join a well-established organisation with strong community roots. Supporting an experienced H&S team, you'll help drive safety improvements and promote high standards across the business.
Working closely with senior leaders and Health & Safety professionals, you'll receive excellent training, development and mentoring, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across the business.
- Assist with risk assessments, identify opportunities to reduce risk, and produce reports recommending improvements.
- Carry out site inspections to check policies and procedures are being executed correctly on sites.
- Keep records of any inspection findings or accidents on site and produce statistics for managers.
- Partake in-house training with site management/staff about health and safety issues and risks.
- Ensure equipment is installed safely.
- After time provide advice on a range of specialist areas such as fire regulations, noise & safe use of machinery.

You will keep yourself up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation and any developments that affect our industry.
