A leading construction contractor is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to play a key role on a flagship UK infrastructure programme. This is a high–impact position with genuine influence over project delivery, environmental performance, and long–term sustainability strategy.
Responsibilities
- Shaping environmental and sustainability performance across major construction projects, embedding best practice from design through delivery.
- Driving carbon, materials, and environmental management strategies that influence real–world project outcomes.
- Partnering with site teams, engineers, and leadership to turn sustainability commitments into practical, deliverable actions.
- Engaging with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance while enhancing project reputation and performance.
- Using data, audits, and reporting to identify risks, drive improvement, and showcase environmental and sustainability impact.
What we’re ideally looking for
