Join a specialist fire and safety consultancy delivering fire risk assessments across commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties. This is a site-based role carrying out fire risk assessments in line with BAFE SP205 and current UK fire safety legislation, producing clear, auditable reports and supporting quality and compliance standards.

The Role

  • Carry out fire risk assessments in accordance with BAFE SP205 and UK fire safety legislation
  • Inspect sites, identify fire hazards, and assess existing fire safety measures
  • Produce high-quality, auditable fire risk assessment reports
  • Support internal QA, peer reviews, and technical review processes
  • Act as Lead Fire Risk Assessor where competence allows

About You

  • Experience completing fire risk assessments in non-domestic and/or residential buildings
  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Level 3+ Fire Risk Assessment qualification
  • Registered or eligible for registration on an SP205-recognised scheme (IFE, IFSM, FRACS)
  • Full UK driving licence or ability to travel independently

Desirable

  • Experience within a BAFE SP205-certified organisation
  • Higher-risk residential or complex mixed-use buildings experience
