The predicted salary is between 27255 - 31022 £ per year.

Location: Shireland Collegiate Academy

Salary: Band D SCP 9 – 17 £27,255 - £31,022 per annum pro rata (£25,997 - £31,022 actual salary)

Hours: 37 Hours per week – term time + 3 weeks

Start Date: September 2026

Role Description

To work with individual and small groups of students to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support secondary school-age students in their learning.
  • Motivate students and demonstrate a secure understanding of the learning process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with students, colleagues and people of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with secondary school-age students to support their learning.
  • Able to inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils.
  • Committed to raising standards for all and dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Proficient with the use of technology for learning and willingness to innovate.
