HOURS: 37 hours per week, term time + 3 weeks

Shireland Biomedical UTC opened to its first cohort of Year 7 students in September 2022. Shireland Biomedical UTC has an established Sixth Form which is continuing to develop and grow. We are looking to appoint a Sixth Form Student Support Manager to work with the Head of Sixth Form to help establish and promote student outcomes and welfare.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow school and Trust policies including the staff code of conduct.
- Supervise student use of social and/or study base.
- Produce accurate and up to date information regarding student attendance.
- Make daily calls to absent students.
- Support the Attendance Officer with home visits as required.
- Ensure all students can access ICT equipment and Inventry.
- Ensure ID badges and registration details are correct and in place.
- Support the Head of Sixth Form to organise open events and parents’ evenings.
