Shireland Biomedical UTC is looking to build a dedicated team of examination invigilators to assist in managing examinations throughout the year. This is employment on a casual basis and successful candidates will be contacted throughout the year to confirm availability in line with the invigilation schedule.
Compensation
- Salary: Band C SCP 8 – £13.94 per hour
- Hours: 0 hour contract - Casual (as and when required)
Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise examinations, ensuring that guidelines and regulations regarding the integrity and security of the examination papers are followed.
- Maintain a high degree of discretion when handling confidential data and adhere to strict guidelines.
- Attend formal training prior to invigilating external examinations for the first time.
Qualifications
- Approachable and professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
- Must have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) including a Children’s Barred List check for positions carrying out a regulated activity.
