Shireland CBSO Academy is an exciting new school that opened to Year 7 in September 2023 and is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra. Based in Providence Place, West Bromwich, the Academy works in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serves all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The Academy is for all students who have a passion or talent for music – they do not necessarily need to already play an instrument.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant who will work as part of a team assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and refreshments and general kitchen cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
- To assist with the preparation and cooking of food and refreshments.
- To assist with the care, maintenance and cleaning of all equipment in use in the kitchen as required.
- To prepare the dining room for service, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping and laying of tables when necessary.
