LOCATION: West Bromwich Collegiate Academy

SALARY: TMS/UPS + TLR for the right candidate.

HOURS: Full Time

REQUIRED FOR: April 2026

This is a chance to be part of a hugely successful English department where over 80% of students gained 4+ in 2025. West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is an oversubscribed Secondary School in the Black Country. The Academy opened in September 2019 with 175 students and has continued to grow each year. It is now at full capacity with 805 students on roll.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and deliver effective, high‑quality learning experiences for all students.
  • Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students.
  • Liaise with teaching colleagues across the Academy to support strategic development, share good practice and plan collaborative activities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience teaching across the key stages. Applications from newly qualified teachers are welcome.
  • Consistently good/outstanding teacher.
  • Exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
  • Able to inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils.
