RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR

Hours: 37 hours per week on a rota basis, some evening meetings/events, Term Time + 3 weeks

Location: Shireland CBSO Academy, Providence Place, West Bromwich, serving Sandwell and the wider West Midlands.

Shireland CBSO Academy is an exciting new school that opened to Year 7 in September 2023 and is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra.

The Academy serves all students who have a passion or talent for music, regardless of prior instrument experience.

We are seeking an efficient and welcoming Receptionist.

Role involves welcoming visitors, providing general administrative support, producing correspondence, filing, photocopying, and assisting with queries and complaints.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure visitors are welcomed and managed according to safeguarding and other Academy policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support for the Academy.
  • Assist with the production of correspondence across the Academy.
  • File and photocopy.
  • Assist with the dealing of queries and complaints.
