Location: Shireland Collegiate Academy

Salary: Band D SCP 9 - 17 £27,255 - £31,022 per annum pro rata (£25,997 - £31,022 actual salary)

Hours: 37 Hours per week - term time + 3 weeks

Opening: Required for September 2026

Responsibilities:

  • To work with individual and small groups of students to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning.
  • The post holder should have experience of working with secondary school age students to support their learning and be able to demonstrate their ability to motivate students.
  • Have a secure understanding of the learning process and what motivates young people in their learning.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
