Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the learning and achievement of all students in Physics.
  • Provide high quality leadership and management for Physics within the Academy.
  • Develop effective partnership working with other staff to secure high levels of student progress.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience teaching across the key stages; newly qualified teachers are also welcome.
  • Consistently a good or outstanding teacher.
  • Exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
  • Able to inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils.
  • Committed to raising standards for all and share the drive to constantly learn and improve.
  • Willingness to lead initiatives and evidence of impact.
