GRADE: Grade A, SCP 3 £24,796 per annum pro rata (£12.89 per hour)

HOURS: 20 hours per week, 52 weeks (4 hours per day, 06:00am – 08:00am & 15:30pm – 17:30pm)

LOCATION: Shireland Collegiate Academy, Waterloo Road, Smethwick

We are seeking a hardworking and committed employee who shares in our passion for making a difference to the lives of students by ensuring the cleanliness provision provided at the school is of a high standard. The post holder will work as part of a team cleaning designated areas within the school to ensure they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine cleaning of premises and furnishings in all room types during term time, to include vacuuming, damp drying, mopping, machine cleaning floors, polishing and emptying of litter bins.
  • Opening and locking of school gates as required.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team cleaning designated areas within the schools to ensure they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.

All post-holders will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), including a Children’s Barred List check for post carrying out a regulated activity.
